I'm an American and had this movie shipped to me in the U.S.

It's crazy how the U.S. has moved away from selling 3D TVs and movies! 3D movies really allow you to feel like you're part of the film, and "Black Panther" in 3D is amazing! From the carefully selected color palette to the awe-inspiring backdrops and landscapes this movie never leaves the eyes wanting more.

Plenty of people will talk about the movie itself, but it's all stuff you've heard before...Great acting. Great story. Great cinematography. For me, it was the thoughtful use of the 3D that really impressed me.

A MUST SEE and a MUST HAVE for your collection!

Black Panther may be one of the most important movies of the year because of its cultural significance, but compared to some other MCU movies it is somewhat lacking in the actual filmmaking and storytelling. Black Panther explores the origin story of T'Challa, expanding on the character first introduced in Civil War.

Black Panther is a solid origin movie that resembles the early MCU's 'Phase 1' movies, in the best and worst ways, due to the all too familiar plot beats, but the new, interesting and strikingly unusual setting and plot devices make for an entertaining experience.

As for the 4K/UHD Blu-ray itself, the UHD BR offers a moderate but not dramatic leap over the regular Blu-ray, with the most notable improvement being the deeper, richer colour palette. The richer colours and range of blacks and brightness become abundantly clear during certain dark scenes in the movie, in which the blacks are inky and the small sources of light and colours pop. A noteworthy moment is the car chase scene, in which the street lights and signs, illuminated shop banners, and car, water and window reflections all shine and shimmer immaculately.

4K UHD Blu-Ray Specifications:
Codec: HEVC / H.265
Resolution: Native 4K (2160p)
HDR: Dolby Vision + HDR10
Colour Gamut: Wide/WCG
Original Aspect Ratio: 2.39:1

Great film, wonderful plot and such resonance for Africa and the African diaspora worldwide. This has been more than just a movie for people, it was a celebration of African heritage and culture. The film itself was possibly overhyped, but hard to play down the significance of seeing strong, brave, intelligent and independent black people en masse on the silver screen. A cultural landmark.

Very slow. As with most action movies, trailers show most of the action in the film and as such the film itself is dissapointing

Thought the story line weak, a cross between the Lion King and Wonder Woman. Special effects very good.

Was really looking forward to this...before it was turned into some sort of politicised race-obsessed nonsense. But having given that hype time to simmer back down I relaxed and watched a compelling story, very well acted with impressive cgi, another great addition to the superhero genre. Not convinced by the hobbit as the token white lead, ironically, but the rest worked well.

This was bril;liant, loved every minute, a lot of folk said that ther was just too much political /political correctness agenda around racism etc and i simply did not find that, it was a great story with brilliant actors and well worth seeing for the visual effect alone, the colours, the tech, the battles, the personalities, they were fantastic :)

I've been avid fan of Marvel films since the first Spiderman film came out in 2002. After seeing 'Black Panther' at the cinema early this year, I knew I had to have it in my DVD collection - and Amazon was the first place I went to so I could get it! The film is as good as everyone says, and is unlike any Marvel film so far.

Bit disappointed after all the hype - took way too long to get going but had to watch it before I get to see infinity War. Seemed to drag whitch other Marvel films don't

Sometimes the amount of Marvel films can seem overwhelming, but this is a great stand alone film. Great characters exciting plot that balances action and character development. A really good super hero film.
